Our global production model
We work with print and production partners around the world. Books are printed on demand in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. Merchandise is produced through a global network of facilities. We chose this model to reduce the environmental footprint of every order and to keep production close to you wherever you are. Because each order is made on demand, production times vary by destination, product and current capacity at the closest facility. Order processing and production time
Order processing and production time
For book orders. Every book is printed individually after you place your order. Production typically takes 5 to 10 working days before your order is dispatched, and can extend to 15 working days during periods of high demand at the closest facility. The Australian facility is currently running at the upper end of this range. An estimated dispatch date is shown at checkout for every order.
For merchandise orders.
Merchandise is printed on demand through our global production partner network. Production typically takes 3 to 7 working days before your order is dispatched, depending on the product and the closest available facility.
Where your order ships from
Orders are printed and dispatched from the production facility closest to your delivery address.
Books are produced in Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. Merchandise is produced through a worldwide network of facilities, with the closest one to your address handling your order wherever possible.
Most orders are produced and shipped domestically, which keeps delivery times shorter, reduces freight emissions and avoids customs charges where possible.
Indicative delivery times
Delivery time is the production time plus the transit time once your order is dispatched. Transit time depends on your location and the shipping service selected at checkout. As a guide, once dispatched:
- Australia: 5 to 12 working days
- United Kingdom: 2 to 5 working days
- United States: 1 to 8 working days
- Canada: up to 5 working days
- Europe: 3 to 5 working days
- Rest of world: estimated at checkout
These are carrier estimates and are not guaranteed. The delivery estimate for your order is shown at checkout before you pay.
If your order contains both books and merchandise, or multiple items produced at different facilities, parts of your order may be dispatched separately and arrive at different times.
Shipping rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the service you select. The cost is shown before you complete your order.
Tracking
Where a tracked service is used, you will receive tracking information by email once your order is dispatched. Some economy services are untracked. The available options are shown at checkout.
Customs, duties and import taxes
Most orders are produced and shipped within your own country, so customs charges do not usually apply. Where an order is shipped across a border, which can happen when no local facility carries your selected item, any import duties, taxes or customs charges are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are not included in the order total or shipping cost.
Incorrect or incomplete addresses
Please make sure your delivery address is correct and complete at checkout. We are not able to redirect orders once they have been dispatched. Orders returned to us because of an incorrect address, or left unclaimed, may incur a reprint and reshipping cost.
Delayed, lost or damaged orders
Delays can occur once an order is with the carrier. If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time of the estimated delivery date, contact us at unfucktheworld@fasterzebra.com and we will help track it down.
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please see our Returns & Refunds policy. Contact us at unfucktheworld@fasterzebra.com with your order number and photographs, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
